As a child growing up in Michigan, Sheree painted alonside her mother Shirley, an amateur oil painter. While attending a creative arts school for 10 years, she developed a love and appreciation for all forms of art. Ater her parents died, Sheree decided to become a pharmacist, but continued to weave art into her daily life. It was not until she moved to Hawaii to open a pharmacy that she discovered the medium of watercolor. She became inspired as she began taking watercolor classes from a wonderful teacher. From that moment on, capturing the natural beauty of Hawaii in watercolor became her passionate pursuit.

"Hawaii's unique rainbow of vibrant colors has been a magnetic attraction to me, ever since my first visit to the islands in 1982. The magestic abundance of nature and the range of colors are visually stimulating and spiritually soothing. Living in this lush environment, I can now pursue my passion, interpreting and expressing the diverse intensity of nature via my watercolor palette."
